Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
SendPilot ("we," "us," "our") provides a business messaging and automation platform for businesses operating in the Philippines. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it is handled, in line with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) and guidance from the National Privacy Commission.
1. Data we collect
- Account data — your name, email, business name, and password (or Google account identifier, if you sign in with Google).
- Contact data you upload — the phone numbers and related details of your own customers, which you upload to run campaigns. You are the data controller for this data; SendPilot processes it on your behalf.
- Usage data — campaigns sent, delivery status, wallet transactions, and how you use the dashboard, used to operate and improve the service.
- Payment-related data — when a live payment gateway is connected, payment confirmations are handled by that gateway directly; SendPilot does not store full card numbers.
2. Why we process it
To create and secure your account, deliver the messaging and automation features you sign up for, calculate billing and commissions, respond to support requests, and meet legal and regulatory obligations.
3. Your responsibilities as a customer
If you upload contact lists to send campaigns, you are responsible for having a lawful basis (such as consent) to message those contacts, and for honoring opt-out requests. SendPilot provides consent-tracking and suppression-list tooling to help — see our Trust & Compliance page.
4. Data sharing
We share data only with service providers necessary to operate SendPilot — for example, our hosting and database providers, SMS delivery partners, and, if connected, a payment gateway. We do not sell your data.
5. Retention and deletion
We retain account and campaign data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution needs. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us using the details below.
6. Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and may object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures — encrypted connections, hashed passwords, and role-based access controls — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
8. Contact us
